Unlike most marketing consultants would like you to believe, you can start doing online marketing without a strategy – experimenting is one of the key actions in online marketing. So, just go, do it, see for yourself how Google Adwords works, what happens when you set up a LinkedIn campaign or if it’s useful to boost a company Insta post etc.
However, if you want to use marketing structurally, if you want to generate more leads for a specific region or keep track of the changes in what your customers are asking for in your market (and, even more important, their market), then it is certainly advisable to lay down a digital strategy.
